In a recent interview, Veteran actor Adeola Shoremi, also known as Baba Lanko or Princess Lanko Omoba Dubai, recently shared the difficult story of his past marriage to fellow actress Atinuke Kazeem, or Mama No Network.

The couple’s 2014 wedding was a star-studded affair, even featuring a performance by Fuji star Pasuma Wonder. However, the union turned violent, with Baba Lanko alleging that his ex-wife once attacked him with a cutlass, leaving him with lasting scars. “This is a finger injury I sustained, which left it bent, due to repeated fights with her,” he recounted.

​In a surprising turn of events, Baba Lanko credits his ex-wife with introducing him to his current spouse. He explained that Mama No Network brought an apprentice to him to learn acting, and that same apprentice later became his wife.

“The apprentice who was brought to me by my ex-wife is currently my wife, and she has given birth to four children. We’re living fine,” he shared. Their story is a testament to finding peace and happiness even after experiencing great difficulty.

On the other hand, Mama No Network blames Lanko for ruining his acting career during an interview in 2024.

“My ex-husband, Lanko, and I worked hard to produce many films. But when money and fame came, he told me he wanted to marry a new wife,” she said.

“After we parted ways, he told producers not to feature me in the same projects as him. Today, however, he now uses his money to call me for movie roles, and I give glory to God.”
